Extended through June 30th...
Improbable Landscapes: works on paper
at The Fine Arts Building, 5th floor
Improbable Landscapes: works on paper is a small, solo exhibition of my work on the 5th floor of the Fine Arts Building during the months of April, May and June 2019. Because this particular gallery space is shaped like a rectangle with two walls completely glass, all of the works on display can be easily seen anytime the building is open. So wander to the 5th floor anytime for a peek. If you are interested in a piece you see here or in the gallery, please email me via the contact page.
The Opening Event took place on Friday, May 10th 5-8pm coinciding with the Open Studios that happen every 2nd Friday in the Fine Arts Building. It is a very casual situation. Each month visitors can enjoy wandering the historic building to see the lovely spaces, work, and organizations open that night. It is also the last building in Chicago with manual elevators, which are fun to see.
The works on this site that are not yet marked sold and a few other pieces will be there for purchase and viewing up close.
Parking is available in the Grant Park South garage and the entrance to the building is 30 feet from the garage's South exit. There is no parking validation. There is also street/metered parking on Wabash between Van Buren and Congress/Ida B. Wells Parkway -- walking distance to the building.
